A few minutes' drive from Santa Maria di Leuca, outside the ancient village of Gagliano del Capo, we offer our discerning guests a charming and spacious residence for unforgettable holidays.The ancient palace l'Altra Metà dates back to the late 18th century and has belonged to the same family for 3 generations. Recently renovated and managed for a few years as a B&B, the palace is now rented out for the exclusive use of individual groups or families.Guests will be able to immerse themselves in the typical atmosphere of the area, punctuated by the village bells and the slow passage of time, visit the centre of Gagliano every day, where art and entertainment events for adults and children are often organised in summer, and reach the sea and other villages within a few minutes' drive.Outside the palace there are wide stretches of countryside and alleyways leading to the historical centre of the town, where all the main services can be found (also reachable with a short walk).The structure is majestic and spread over two large levels interconnected by flights of internal stairs, with bedrooms on both the ground and first floors.The garden bordered by high walls is the communal conviviality area where one can chat in the shade of lemon trees, prepare lunches, dinners or aperitifs at sunset and where one can comfortably relax by the pool.The sea is very close by and can be reached in a few minutes' drive, while some of the most beautiful beaches in Salento are about ten minutes' drive away.L'Altra Metà can comfortably accommodate 12 people in its beautiful 6 bedrooms, all spacious, bright, with high vaulted ceilings and each with its own bathroom-shower.The building has a double entrance: one leading into the dining room and kitchen and a second leading into the garden.On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, the kitchen, the living room with TV and sofas, and the dining room, while on the first floor there are three more bedrooms (one of which can accommodate a couple with children as it is a two-bedroom apartment with two single beds located in the adjoining room, another has a romantic balcony with views of the countryside and the sunset). A sixth bedroom - housed in an old barn, is located on the stairs leading from the kitchen to the first floor and the terrace.The pride and joy of this magnificent structure is its garden, impeccably tidy and rich in flowers and ornamental plants, as well as being embellished by some beautiful architectural elements, first and foremost the beautiful colonnade over which a dense vine plant is woven.The swimming pool (measuring 7 m x 7 m, depth 140 cm - hydro-massage jet on one side) is almost set in the space delimited by the colonnade and has a paved area with modern parasols and sun loungers.Outside the palace kitchen is a dining area shaded by large sunshades, while an area of the garden is enriched by a soft lawn.The garden is the centrepiece of the villa, the place to spend moments of fun and relaxation. Please note that, as the property is surrounded by other houses, we ask our guests to respect the common neighbourhood rules, thus avoiding noise that could disturb the neighbourhood.L'Altra Metà also has a large level terrace where you can admire romantic sunsets over the surrounding countryside every day.The lower Salento is a remote and fascinating place where the land narrows and the ends of Puglia divide the Ionian and Adriatic seas.The building is located in the historical centre of Arigliano, a wonderful and characteristic village, a hamlet of the town of Gagliano del Capo. Betalingsvoorwaarden en -termijnen

Na bevestiging van de boeking moet binnen tien dagen een aanbetaling van 20% gedaan worden van de totale huursom. Vervolgens moet de tweede betaling uiterlijk 42 dagen voor vertrek worden voldaan. Indien u vertrekt binnen zes weken dan moet het volledige bedrag direct worden voldaan.
