The holiday flat is located on the ground floor of a private semi-detached villa in the town of Taurisano, on the tip of the heel of the Italian boot, where the Ionian and Adriatic seas meet. Being a corner property, the two units each have their own driveway.In front of the entrance to the flat is a loggia equipped with garden furniture. The part of the garden in front of the flat is for the exclusive use of the guests. It is equipped with a barbecue for relaxing evenings under the starry sky. There is also an outdoor shower, a washing machine, a sink and a storage room. You can park your vehicle in the private driveway, which is closed by a gate.The flat is independent and very well maintained. It is tastefully furnished with a clever mix of antique and modern designer furniture. Floors decorated with mosaics give the flat a particularly elegant atmosphere. Particular attention is paid to cleanliness and hygiene. The spacious kitchen is divided into a cooking area and a living area. The living area is equipped with a sofa and a TV with DVBT reception. The fireplace can be used, but firewood is provided by the house owners for a small fee. A large dining table is set up in the centre of the kitchen. The modern kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, oven, refrigerator with freezer and toaster. The bedroom is equipped with a custom-made double bed (195x200cm), under which two pull-out single beds are stored. To set it up, simply open the legs. The single beds can be placed in the living area (there is only room for one bed in the bedroom). Otherwise, the bedroom is equipped with a large wardrobe and antique bedside tables, as well as a desk. The elegant bathroom has custom-made Arte Povera-style furniture, a shower cubicle and a hairdryer. The air-conditioning in the bedroom also has a heating function and, when the door is open, also air-conditions the kitchen-living room. Free Internet access via Wi-Fi is available. On request, a cot can be provided for younger guests.The location of the flat is ideal for exploring southern Salento. This area is worth visiting at any time of the year. From the edge of the village, which is nearby, there are several paths through the olive groves, where you can go jogging or cycling. Bicycle hire is available in the vicinity of the flat. The town centre is about 1,000 metres away and offers bars and restaurants. The nearest shopping centre is only 50 metres away. The Ionian coast is only 10 km away (Marina di Ugento) and the Adriatic coast (Marina di Tricase) is about 20 km away. The beautiful beaches are all within easy reach thanks to the motorways that connect Taurisano to the coast.The owners, who live on the upper floor, will be happy to assist their guests and spoil them with small gifts. Na bevestiging van de boeking moet binnen tien dagen een aanbetaling van 20% gedaan worden van de totale huursom. Vervolgens moet de tweede betaling uiterlijk 42 dagen voor vertrek worden voldaan. Indien u vertrekt binnen zes weken dan moet het volledige bedrag direct worden voldaan.
