In a sunny hillside location at an altitude of about 150 meters, you can look from the terrace at the natural surroundings with their rocky walls and over the wide valley of the resort, which opens to the sea with a natural beach. Your holiday home is located on the outskirts of the manageable village of El Risco, which belongs to the municipality of Agaete in the west of the island.

From the pool (carefully maintained all year round, consistently 1.50m deep, not heated) with skin-friendly salt electrolysis, the island of Tenerife with Mount Teide can be seen on the horizon on clear days. On new moon nights, a spectacular starry sky glitters. Supermarket, shops, ATM and restaurants can be reached in 15 minutes by car through the new tunnel in La Aldea or in 20 minutes in the old town and at the fishing port of Agaete.

Only 150m above sea level and shielded from the trade winds and clouds by the mountains of the Tamadaba Nature Park, El Risco is one of the climatically best locations on the island. Easy hikes or challenging mountain tours start directly at the hotel's parking lot: in 45 minutes to the waterfall of the "Charco Azul", in a good hour to the hill of Tirma or high up to the Faneque mountain to the pine forest of Tamadaba. The spacious terrace, which extends along the south side of the house towards the garden, is equipped with sun loungers, a table, chairs and a shade-giving parasol, at the western end with a cushioned seating group. The 100-year-old carob tree in the garden attracts wild canaries and provides natural shade next to a palm tree.

The country house extends over a living area of 68 m2 and is divided into a bedroom with a double bed, a spacious combined living and dining room with an integrated fully equipped kitchen and a spacious daylight bathroom. The well-kept interior is characterized by high rooms under the visible pointed roof beams, a natural stone wall in the living area, as well as comfortable furnishings that meet contemporary demands for a relaxing holiday. In the bedroom you will find a French bed measuring 150 cm x 200 cm with a continuous mattress. A chest of drawers is used to store your travel wardrobe.
In the living area you can take a seat on a sofa, which can also be transformed into an additional sleeping place with a lying area of 130 cm x 210 cm in a few steps. A small smart TV with satellite reception (Astra) and a CD music system provide entertainment. The desk completes the equipment and can also be used as a workplace thanks to the fiber-optic Internet connection via WLAN or LAN.
The fully equipped kitchenette is located near the dining table with four chairs. For your comfortable self-catering, this has a dishwasher, a four-zone hob, oven, microwave, a fridge and freezer combination, a coffee machine, a toaster and a kettle.
In the daylight bathroom you will find a bathtub with a shower cabin, toilet, bidet and the washbasin with an illuminated mirror. There is also a small washing machine.

The natural beach of El Risco, two kilometers away, can be reached in 5 minutes by car and a short walk and surprises at low tide on windless days with a wide, flat strip of sand. Even in the summer it is never crowded.

The use of the barbecue may be restricted by order of the nature conservation authorities in the event of an increased fire hazard. Due to the location in the biosphere Reserve, this is understandable. The owners will be happy to inform you about the current situation.
